I'm sorry that my last two outfit posts have also involved the wearing of this blazer, I JUST REALLY LIKE IT OKAY?!! It's a pretty colour and it is a good length and it has stripey turned-up sleeves and aaahhh. Favourite. I've been wearing it over the top of this polka dot dress a lot lately. It is swishy and girly and is a good mood generator. Also my owl necklace makes jingly noises. Jingle jingle. I think this is my favourite kind of outfit to wear - a cute little dress with a blazer over the top. Bonus points if it includes oxfords and animal-related jewellery. I can't wait until winter (for all the five weeks it lasts for, boohoo) so I can throw on some tights and a scarf as well. And perhaps even this or this. Am I a human or mythical creature? Nobody will ever know.
My last post saw me complain about my lack of work. I write to you now as a professional employed woman! Well, maybe not very professional, or a woman* (ohoho now you're confused aren't you?), but definitely employed. I got a job as an usher at one of the main concert venues in my city, which I think will be pretty cool. Free concert watching! Hurray! I start training next week. I'm quite looking forward to it as I haven't had much to do these holidays, but I'm sure as soon as I start back at work/uni I will be having a perpetual whinge about how much I want to go back to doing nothing. Aaahh, the woes of a lazy person.
Hope you're having a good week. Farewell!
*Just kidding. I just wanted you to read an entire paragraph with a small amount of uncertainty. What a joker I am!

DeleteYou're wishing for Winter whilst I am dreaming of the sun! Don't get me wrong, I am loving the snow, but going out is so much effort wearing so many layers!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the job, getting to watch free shows sounds like pretty cool way to spend your work hours!
Charlotte
Thanks! Yessss hurry up winter. We don't get any badass snow like you though! I agree with you about layering, it is super annoying, especially when you walk into a shopping centre and they've set the temperature to a million degrees!
DeleteLook at you pretty lady!! :) Lovely post. Have a great day xx
ReplyDeleteWhaaaat owl madness! Brilliant! I used to have one a bit like that, although sadly some nasty person stole it when I was at a club about a year ago, so enjoy that bad boy for both of us! Also congrats on the job, that sounds crazy-awesome. I'm well jel :)
ReplyDeletexx
Oh what a douchebag! Who steals an owl necklace? Grrrrrrrr.
DeleteI'm totally jealous of your job! While living in Vegas and going to shows at the House of Blues, I always wished I could be one of the ushers that didn't have to spend the $50 I just did to see that band. You lucky duck!
ReplyDeleteAnd who cares if you've worn that blazer twice or 50 million times! If you love something, wear it often! hehe I also have an owl necklace, actually two of them, similar to the one you're wearing. :)
Ooooh and those unicorn beanie hat thingys are super awesome!!!
Haha I'm glad someone clicked on the unicorn hat link! Otherwise I would look like a crazy person talking about how I am a mythical creature.
DeleteCongrats on the job! I love everything about your outfit. The dress is so flowy and feminine, the blazer is stunning, and I love love love the owl necklace.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new job lady! That sounds like so much fun. I would love to see shows and be paid. Also - that blazer is perfect. I would wear it all the time as well. I really like it with the polka dots. This outfit is super cute. I need to find a good blazer to pair with outfits.
ReplyDeleteYAY, congrats! Free concert watching sounds like a great gig :)
ReplyDeleteIf I had that blazer I'd wear it every day, it's such a stunning colour and I LOVE it with the polka dots <3
I wish I was a mythical creature. Unicorns don't take shit from nobody. Sigh. :-( Lovely outfit, if I'd have that blazer I would probably never stop wearing it either! And congrats on the job! :-)
ReplyDeleteHaha! Unicorn blood makes you immortal, I read it in Harry Potter so it must be true :)
DeleteCongrats on the job! Loving this outfit - the polka dots are so cute - and if I had that blazer, I would definitely wear it for 2 outfit posts in a row too :)

ReplyDeleteI love your coral blazer. And in my opinion there are few things better than some polka dots. Plus your owl necklace is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised that you've worn this blazer in the last to outfit posts, it's gorgeous... if it magically goes missing from your wardrobe... it wasn't me... *shifty eyes*. In all seriousness... you look gorgeous! xx

haha dont worry I wear the same things over and over... although my shoe choice in today's post was actually determined solely (tehe) by the fact that the ones I had on 1st had made too many blog appearances. Congrats on the job- always so stressful finding work! Cute color combo here as well :)
