was it christmas recently?

Yes. Yes it was.

Christmas! It is fun. How was your Christmas? I had a pretty rad day. I ended up making those Santa hat brownies that you can see in the photos above - my first baking experience was a success! My boyfriend and his family came over to my house for lunch, and then in the evening we went to his brother's house for a barbecue. I had been planning for weeks to bring fairy bread to that dinner, only to find out when I got there that somebody else had done the same thing. How rude!

I feel a bit slack because my internet's been down from Christmas Eve until now, which means I haven't been able to read any of your Christmas posts. Waahhh! How annoying. I'm totally going to do it as soon as I finish writing this, though. Blogging has become one of my favourite things to do over the past five months or so, and I have met some really nice people through it. I wish I could meet all of you, and then put you in a cake and eat it. I realise now that that last sentence was very strange but I meant it in the nicest of ways. I'm almost at 100 followers now, which is super exciting as I feel like I've only just started blogging. So thank you for following my blog and reading about my silly little life. It makes me a happy girl. Weeeeeeeee.

I'm going to go sit in airconditioning now, and stuff my face with chocolate while wearing my duck-print dressing gown. Might also watch some Downton Abbey because I am a lady. Farewell!
