Hello! Gareth and I went to Sydney this past weekend and had a jolly marvellous time. On the Friday, we wandered around the city for a good ten hours and saw many a thing. In the first two photos you can see that the road was closed off and covered in confetti. Turns out we arrived in the city just as some parade for the Sydney Swans was happening. I don't give a shit about AFL, or most sport in general, but it made for some cool photos and for that I was pleased. On the same street happened to be the new Topshop, which had just opened the day before! Super duper exciting. And Zara was just around the corner! Ohh Sydney, you have the best ideas. Also, you may notice from the photographs that I made friends with a gigantic cupcake person. I wasn't not going to get a photo with it. IT'S A GIANT CUPCAKE. Bye!

I love Sydney, I really do, but ten hours walking around! I would have got the shits and been on a train at the six hour mark! That is the best thing about living an hour away from the city.

First visit to your blog, and it seems really fun so far!
ReplyDeleteI'd be really pumped for that much confetti - not a sports fan here either.
Love your gifs below and now I want to try one - maybe for Halloween. Do you celebrate Halloween in Australia? I know they don't really in Europe.
Hope you had a nice weekend!

The engagement party looks sweet and Sydney looks stunning! I was there once, but only for two days and there were chunks of ash blowing all over the place...rather more scenic in your pictures!
