Well hello there! Long time, no see. I thought that it was perhaps time to show you my new house, being that I have now lived here for close to six months. So it's not quite so new anymore. Eek.
I really, really, really like living here. Apart from a brief stint in London for six months, this is the first time I've lived out of home, and it is pretty damn cool. As you can see, I have a marvellous view of Moreton Bay, which I can look at from my Union Jack-clad bed. Ooohh I am enjoying myself very much indeed.
I do feel a bit shitty for not having blogged for so long. I think it's been at least three months now. I originally started this blog to document my life, and what I wear whilst I am living said life, but to be honest I have not been feeling the best about either things lately, and so the thought of blogging just makes me go "eeeeuughhh". When I say I haven't been feeling the best, I don't mean that in a depressing sad Sally kinda way. I just mean that nothing really has been happening apart from uni and work, and those things are both pretty silly. And in terms of the wearing of clothes, I've put on a bit of weight over the past few months, which makes me feel a bit shit. If my calculations are correct, moving out of home + having complete control of fridge contents = EXTREME AMOUNTS OF ICE-CREAM. I'm not overweight by any means, but I have gotten a bit of excess chubbiness that I would very much like to go away now please. Because of this, I just feel like crap no matter what I wear, so taking photos of outfits is very much out of the question. It is my fault for loving cake and hating exercise. Booo.
So it is my plan to try and fix the things in my life that I feel a bit poopy about. Eat less, exercise more, make some pals that make me happy, be less lazy about uni (and things in general really), get into something new. And writing it down here means that it will be embarrassing should I fail to accomplish these things.
I don't know how this post turned into such a ramble festival, because really I just wanted to show you my new house! But then words came out of my fingers and fell onto the keyboard or something. Yes. I hope that you are well and all that. See ya later alligator!
wait seriously. is that your bed? Its so awesome!!! and omg your makeup and jewelry section looks sooo pretty. im not near that organized...and im loving your closet! especially that heart printed bag in the corner :)

Yes I love my bed! Well actually it's super uncomfortable but at least the bedspread is nice, haha. :)
DeleteOMG YOU'RE BACK!!!!!!!!! YESSSS!!! #LordJesus #IGotTimeForThat
ReplyDeleteNow that I'm done sounding like a crazy IG lady. I've missed you. I've missed you here so much! So let's get on to the post and my comments, shall we?
~Your house is gorg'! I even love your little Union Jack canisters! I need those actually.
~Living on your own is a lot of fun, especially because you can eat junk whenever you want! Ice cream is one of my most favorite treats in the world to eat at all hours. That and cake. Oh, I love cake. But I'm sure you look great! And I'm not just saying that because you're my bud and I adore you. :) But on the other hand I know that you might see yourself looking "chubalicious" and feel not good about it. I get the same way and I know I'm not overweight, but we're girls, we're designed to act silly like that about our bodies. Now that's a bit shit if you ask me. I want all the ice creams and none of the guilt! I hope you realize you look wonderful and start posting some outfit pics soon.
~I'm the same about writing goals down on the blog. I won't do it. If anyone were to ask, "oh, hey did you do that thing you said?" and I didn't, I'd be head down, frown, and requiring even more ice cream to eat away my shame.
Welp, I'm glad you popped in. I hope this is a regular occurrence again. ♥
AAAAAWW Roni! You make me grin like the Cheshire Cat, except I'm not purple, or a cat. Thank you for your very nice words. I hope one day we can eat a dickload of ice-cream together like a pair of badasses.

Your place is suuper cute! Love your breadspread, and how you live right near the beach. Aw, I always gain a bit in the winter - comfort food! Haha.
ReplyDeleteYATTA welcome back. I actually took outfit pictures this afternoon. I haven't been blogging much either, and my laptop fried so I lost my photoshop and all. :(
ReplyDeleteI want to dive into your bed so bad.
You have an awesome housey, I'd live there in a heartbeat. And I'm sorry your life has been a bit meh lately. I think everyone has those kinds of times in their lives from time to time, it'll pass soon enough. Life is all about throwing some FUCKING curveballs so you'll get one soon enough, too. :-D Weight shit always happens with those kinds of times, I lost quite a bit of weight with all the stress in my life in the past four months and I still feel kind of iffy about it. Overall, noticing change in yourself is always scary. Especially if you didn't do it on purpose. :-D Either way, I'm glad you did a blogpost! I always enjoy reading your posts because you're awesome like it's nobodies business. And I'm pretty sure you're just as awesome with some extra ice-cream weight on!

Bahaha! Moving out of home + having complete control of fridge contents definitely equals extreme amounts of icecream! oh, and maltesers! The first time I moved out of home was on my own so I'd be travelling to and from work, my boyfriends house, and my mums house so it was much easier for me to eat smaller and healthier portions of food.. then when I moved out with my boyfriend it was like I needed to cook and bake awesome food on a daily basis to prove I was a good housemate, which only resulted in me gaining 5kg's and getting bored with cooking all the time. :P
ReplyDeleteAnyway, your house is really cute!!
xx
What a cute place you have!! And thank-you for following my blog! Your blog is so cute :D And I think that when I move out, icecream will be my staple - people will go to my fridge for food and there will be icecream icecream only icecream (and a bit of pasta) haha
