marry me, inanimate objects.
I am really enjoying going shopping at the moment. Every clothing store I walk into is a magical wonderland full of Peter Pan collars and polka dots. Aahh. I wish I could spend my days frolicking amongst the clothes, drooling all over them until I get kicked out of the store. I know I allude to marrying my clothes a lot on this blog, but seriously, I would be happy to start a family with these bad boys. I've already bought the mustard dress with the remainder of the Dotti voucher that I won back in October, yet my brain is still screaming, "MORE! YOU MUST HAVE MORE!" at me. I am not insane.
Thank you for wishing me luck in my job hunting! I have another interview on Friday (to work as an usher at the Convention Centre) and a job trial for the jewellery store on Sunday. I would probably prefer to work as an usher, because that means seeing a lot of concerts for free, but really I would be happy with anything. Except prostitution. I move out of home in approximately 10 weeks (not that I'm counting), so I'll be needing the moneys to buy exciting things like washing machines and ironing boards. Yaaay. Bye!

And what a gorgeous wedding it would be!
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased you got that wee mustard number - that will be amazing on you, can't wait to see it.
Good luck with the job hunt xo
P.s I have the VHS too & Meatloaf was awesome!!
Hahaha twins!
DeleteLOL @ prostitution.
ReplyDeleteThe dress you got is PRETTY! I'd love to see you wear 4 & 6 together!
I wish I OWNED 4&6 first! I never thought of that combo though, thank you! You super-stylist :)
DeleteIm so jealous you can get your reply button to work mine wont :( ANYWHO Loving the mustard dress and shirts 4 and 5 xx
ReplyDeleteOh no! I think it does it automatically though? Stupid Blogger. It doesn't notify you of replies anyway which is a bit sucky.
DeleteI love 2,3 and 7! I have decided that I need to stop shopping because I don't have any more room.

Haha that is part of my problem but it doesn't stop me!
DeleteCant wait to see you in number 2 it is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI understand. I'd totally marry my wardrobe if my boyfriend wasn't so distracting. I'll cross my fingers for the ushering position. Swinging many good vibes your way. X
ReplyDeleteAw thank you! What a pity we can't marry our clothing. :)
DeleteI love all those clothes, sqeee! I love that dress you got, so adorable! My favourite thing has to be the FN scalloped shorts, soo cute! Good luck for your trial and your interview for the job as an usher! ('Yeah' by Usher played in my head when I read that hehe!) Lots of cool things happen at the Convention Centre so that would be a cool job to have! But jewellery sounds good too :) I hope you have a great rest of your weekend hehe! xx
ReplyDelete(oh yeah, and the lip tattoo things have lines at the back, so you have to measure your lips and then mark the back and cut it, not very easy hehe but I think there are how-to-vids online that I would have to see otherwise I am sure to stuff it up lol!)
I know, I really want those shorts! Haha no you read it wrong, I'm getting a job as Usher. lolol. If I get the Convention Centre job you have to go to lots of concerts and come visit me :)
DeleteI love that dress! Once again, good luck on the job front! You'll need it to pay for that sweet little car you've got! I didn't know Australia was like England. I've visited England before, but never have I driven over there, so that would definitely take some getting used to. When you visited the states, did you drive over here? Cute clothes you picked!
ReplyDelete-j.
No WAY did I drive in America! That would have been way too scary! I don't know how you do it haha.
DeleteOooft I love button down shirts so much! Those polkadot ones are fab, great choice! Good luck with your interviews and job hunting as well love! I'm sure something perfect will come up soon ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad

I saw this vintage shirt on etsy that I fell in love with and is quite similar to #4, but I'm refraining from buying because I'm BROKE. It's cute, check it out here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/87978111/vtg-90s-checkered-sheer-blouse-m
ReplyDeleteGaahh that is cool! I want it but I suffer from brokeness as well. SAD.
Delete... sigh. I really wish you can get notified when someone replies on these things...
DeleteWow, those dresses and shirts and shorts are AWESOME!!! I am so into those sweet collars right now, and polka dots, and everything else :) even though I am really trying to cut down on my shopping, it's insanely hard... Anyways, hope you get that job! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck!

I love all of your choices!
ReplyDeletePolka Dots! I bought a shirt very similar to the Dotti one from Sportsgirl minus the black colour and cuffs. I can see you looking perfect in the mustard dress with your skin and hair colour it'd look so pretty.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with moving out, I just moved myself and it was so exhausting but it was worth it when you finally have everything set up. I hate having to spend money on practical things like washing machines and irons when I could be buying clothes and shoes haha.
I'm also having a giveaway on my blog which I'd love you to check out, I hope you're having a lovely week and good luck with the interviews xo

I've got #1 dress one in sleeveless & dark blue. It's a miu miu copy (I think) which I got from Zara two years ago. I love it a lot but I can't wear it very often as its impact is large. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to find some decent polka dots shirts like your pick.
