absenteeism

Taking photos while driving: the height of safety.

Hello! The above photos are in no way relevant to the content of this post. I just thought they were cool. I've been whipping out the ol' camera a lot lately because I have two photography subjects at uni this semester. I'm pretty excited about an idea I have for an upcoming assignment, and I'll be sure to post the photos once it's finished. Yes, you heard correctly. ME, excited by an ASSIGNMENT. I am not sure what the world is coming to.

I'll probably be a bit absent from blogging over the coming few weeks, due to a combination of things. Mainly because of uni and work, but also because I'm MOVING OUT OF HOME at the start of April! Ohhh boy. I am pretty friggin' excited. I feel like a proper adult and everything. But if my posts dwindle to around one per fortnight, I hope you will understand. It's just that my room is a giant pile of shit at the moment. Imagine everything you have ever owned, piled onto the floor of a teeny tiny bedroom. That is what my room looks like right now. So because of this I've been feeling pretty uninspired with my outfit choices, which hopefully will change once I move into the new house and have more wardrobe space. I'm not really one to "visualise" an outfit - I find it much easier when I can physically see all the clothes I own, and decide what I want to wear from there. Or something. Does that make sense? I hope it makes sense.

I'm gonna go eat pizza and watch The Only Way is Essex now, but I will see you soon! Farewell!

  2. I love the above pictures. That gigantic smile in the 2nd and oh how your mane is blowing in the wind in the first. Haha I'm so cheesy.
I speak for the entire blog world (yeah, ok) when I say that we all understand that shit gets "real" sometimes and said real-shit takes us away from the colorful and perfect world of outfit posts and giveaways. You will be missed whenever your blog grows cold (Wahhh), but we (especially me) will be here each time you are able to return. I am super excited for you to move into your own space! Hopefully when things settle down for you we can have our skype date. Yes? Weeee! *hugs*

Meanwhile, I just found out my family will be moving states! So I am feeling rather frazzled and my room is a disaster too ;_; Of course we will understand if you won't be updating very much lately, I hope the move isn't too difficult, and I'm glad you are enjoying your photography class!

  13. Exciting times a-gogo for you! I hope the moving process doesn't end up being too horrific, good luck!
Nowt wrong with being excited about a uni assignment. I actually turned down plans with friends the other day in favour of writing a 3000 word essay that I was super-psyched about. 500 words in - I soon realised the folly of my ways.
    xx
PS. If your new place doesn't have at least one Joey Essex poster on the wall I will be very disappointed.

  14. so exciting that you're moving out! haha I find it difficult to arrange outfits without physically seeing the clothing items, as well. that's why I have to pick out a gazillion things on my wardrobe and scatter them all over the room lol! can't wait until you have some time to blog more frequently! :)

  20. Cute photos & I'm glad to hear you're excited about your upcoming assignment! Can't wait to hear more about it :) Good luck with moving into your own place & balancing everything else! As for your messy room, I feel your pain. Sadly mine is worse as my current room at home is pretty huge & with every possible surface covered in clothing, books, & random objects that makes for even more cleaning & less motivation. Not so much fun.
