New keyboard. We are best friends.
Mum bought me heaps of things in preparation for moving out. Somebody's keen.
IT'S A PENGUIN NECKLACE THAT LIGHTS UP AND MAKES PENGUIN NOISES! (Yes, I'm an adult.)

 LOOK AT ALL MY PRESENTS. LOOK AT THEM. I could put them in a pool and go swimming around in them if I wanted. But then I would break them with my flailing arms and general lack of co-ordination. Seriously though, I am a very lucky 23 year old human girl. If you ask nicely, I'll let you borrow my light-up penguin necklace that makes penguin noises.

This is what I wore to go out for dinner on Saturday night. I went out with a few friends to the Pancake Manor and stuffed my silly little face with crepes. Mmmm goood. I am Captain Health. It was a pretty good night though, there was a good mix of old and new friends to talk to. I think everyone had a good time anyway.

Aaaaaand the above is what I wore on my actual birthday. I went with my boyfriend, his brother, and his brother's wife to the Brisbane Powerhouse to see some free comedy. It was pretty funny, I had a good chuckle here and there. Afterwards we went to Max Brenner and drowned in a sea of chocolate brownie fudge sundae mmm droooooooolllll.

Now that it is no longer my birthday, I feel that it is unacceptable to eat cake for every meal. So now I'm going to get back into the whole diet/fitness thing. In fact, I just ate a carrot. Now I can see extra well in the dark. I think that's how it works.

    I know how you feel. My father teaches a tennis team at our high school and they jsut had their party.
    Seafood fettuccine, lasagna, toons of cookies, pies, cakes, and candies, there were even authentic Italian cookies one of the foreign exchange students had gotten shipped for the party. brb going to run a 1000 miles.

    by the way the penguin necklace i want to borrow, is the cutest thing i've ever laid eyes on, and it somehow brings out the child inside me(not that i need the necklace to bring it out, i am soooooo childish by my own lol).
    the black dress with brogues? i don't know how you do it, i really don't know but you manage to dress chic and edgy at the same time without being too femenine-girly or too rock-edgy, i am actually jealous of you. i wish i could pull of this style so easily.
    the combination of the lace of the dress and the brogues is very chic and the earrings, make up and bracelet add a rock touch without overwhelming the outfit
